This semi abstract tree created in collage and mixed media, was inspired by the same tree that lay behind 'Tree of All Seasons'. The picture was started by collaging torn pieces of art paper . The tree was drawn onto this, the medium changing for each different kind of paper. (The drawing mediums used were pen and ink, graphite and chalk. Gouache water colour paint was then used to give added colour to the tree and the tree was then outlined with  silver coloured metallic leaf. Finally more gouache was used to add patches of colour to the space between the branches. This increased the the absract appearance of the picture.

This picture would suit a lover of trees who also enjoys imaginative work. It could look good as a large stretched canvas print, or as a smaller print with a deep but plain frame, and perhaps with a double mount.
