dimensions 410mm x 320mm (original sold) This semi abstract seascape was inspired by the white cliffs you see so much of on the Kent coast. I did the cliffs with torn pieces of white, offwhite, and beige paper. I used painted water colour and rice paper for the sea and sky. The spray and foam were added with white splashes of paint, some more blue added to give depth to the sea in certain places. The green grass growing on the cliffs was added next, and the seagulls were added as a focul point. This picture would appeal to lovers of the sea, of white cliffs, of seagulls, and those who would also like an imaginative interpretation. |
