This semi abstract picture was inspired by the desire to experiment collaging some sequined fabric from an evening dress and peices of lace. The night sky was created using mainly the dark sequined material and black lace,  Some lace was continued into the sea, and other fabric, silk and painted paper were added. The moon and the boat were created from painted paper.

This semi abstract seascape would be suitable for someone fond of the sea and of boats, and who enjoys an imaginative interpretation. The rich collaged fabrics used here bring out the magic  of the moon and stars shining on the water.
